Content Marketing is on the Rise for Manufacturing Marketers

I recently read some research published by Content Marketing Institute, alongside MarketingProfs and Oracle, that presented findings about the current struggles manufacturing marketers face, and some of their plans and the trend shifts in this type of marketing. One of my personal observations over the past decade, is that manufacturing companies have not traditionally placed a lot of effort into developing content or a digital marketing strategy. This report, though reporting 2014 data, validates my thought, and further illustrates the need for manufacturing companies to jump on the content bandwagon if they intend to stay competitive in the ever evolving marketing landscape.
