Today's Quote: Mother Teresa

"Give, but give until it hurts."  - Mother Teresa

It seems to me we've forgotten what it's like to give...I don't mean money (though that may help someone) but rather to give of ourselves. When was the last time you volunteered time with an organization? Or engaged in conversation with a stranger? Or held the hand of a lonely person? When was the last time you opened your soul and actually gave something that only you can give?

Mother Teresa was an incredible example of a selfless person who gave beyond measure. Perhaps even if just once today, we gave something away we didn't expect to get back, what would our impact on the world be?

We celebrate our twentieth anniversary – yes 20th Anniversary – on Friday! I’ve spoken that fact out loud several times and have repeated it in my head countless times over the past few days. I think I’m trying to process and embrace that reality as I recall people, and places, and projects…some of which remain today but others that are now memories.
